Craughwell Camogie Club marked World Mental Health day in collaboration with Mental Health Ireland, HSE and Galway Sports Partnership when they came together to launch the “Community Health and Wellbeing Board” initiative.
The initiative has two main aims; to raise awareness of a range of local and national Mental Health supports and services in sports clubs and community groups across Galway city and county, and to promote awareness and engagement in the Five Ways to Wellbeing, which are five simple evidenced based actions that we can all put into practice in our lives to promote and improve our wellbeing.
The Community Health and Wellbeing Board will be on display at both clubhouses.
