A spirited performance by Craughwell was not enough to prevent All Ireland Club Champions, Sarsfields from recording a routine victory in Round 2 of the senior league on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday in Craughwell. While lining out without all of their talented county players, Sarsfields still had a decent sprinkling of quality and despite the Craughwell girls pushing them all the way they closed the game out with some quality scores from play. It was still a positive performance from the Craughwell ladies and a day to remember for Kacey Coleman and Abbie Rooney who both made their competitive debut.
